Dichroic Glass Seahorse

This is one of the fused glass pieces I made while visiting ArtNETT Studios in college.

This was one of the first fused glass pieces I made in my grandmother's studio. After several practice rounds using scrap pieces of glass to test the temperature of the kiln and the effect it has on glass, I decided to be more purposeful with my designs.

No items found.

For this piece, I decided to experiment with the glass-painting technique known as vitri-fusaille. After painting the subject, my grandmother also offered me some of her dichroic glass, which shimmers and reflects the colors of its surroundings.
