This is one of the fused glass pieces I made while visiting ArtNETT Studios in college.
This was one of the first fused glass pieces I made in my grandmother's studio. The temperature you use to heat glass determines how it looks coming out of the kiln, so I decided to start by repurposing some scrap glass pieces as tests.
I was taught it's best to use a specific glue to hold your pieces in place before they enter the kiln, where they can sometimes move due to the heat. I arranged most of my first few pieces before gluing them in place, but once I had the hang of it, I was able to do both at the same time.
