This is the welcome book I helped design for the Students Today Alumni Tomorrow organization to hand out at UF's Freshman Preview event.
Every summer, the University of Florida hosts a two-day event each weekend for the incoming freshman to tour the campus and choose their classes for the upcoming semester. On the second day, the students are introduced to a number of clubs and organizations, include Advancement's STAT organization. Each of the 11,000 incoming freshman receive an FBook, which shows students how to join STAT, how to participate in the many UF traditions throughout their college career, and then how to join the Alumni Association and stay in touch after they have graduated.
These are a few of the many illustrations I made for the inside of the FBook. After brainstorming with the rest of the team, we decided to completely redo the book with fun activities inside. Previously, the book had been mostly picture- and text-based, so we wanted to turn it into more of an interactive journal with areas where the students could doodle or write about their experiences. I took the lead on this project, because I love organizing, and I contributed to almost all of the pages, sometimes with my illustrations. Aside from that, I was solely responsible for the Campus Tour Photo Ops, Culture on Campus, Get Involved Gator, and Gameday & Homecoming sections.
