This is the promotional student handbook I designed for the Genetics and Genomics PhD program that is part of the UFGI.
During the summer of 2020, I was asked to redesign the Genetics and Genomics PhD program handbook, which was digitally distributed to interested students. My employers were so pleased with the design that they decided to keep and print it the following year, after updating the statistics.
I collaborated with the PhD program coordinator, and because we were out of the office due to the pandemic, I was able to put a lot of time and effort into the redesign. There weren't any events to promote or make graphics for, so I made unique, hand-drawn illustrations for several of the pages. The Director of the Genetics Institute was extremely pleased with my work and said it was one of the most distinct student handbooks he had ever seen and that it would set UF's Genetics and Genomics program apart from the rest.
