DNA Day Website Banners

These are the web banners I designed for the UFGI for its annual DNA Day event.

One of the events that the UF Genetics Institute participated in each year is known as DNA Day. DNA Day is a nationwide event where faculty and students in masters and PhD programs visit high schools in participating counties to teach interactive workshops about the study of DNA. Several of the Genetics and Genomics PhD students volunteered as Ambassadors to travel to the local schools and teach students about DNA through practical activities. The UFGI created web banners for the event each year, despite it being moved online due to the pandemic.

These were the first few drafts I created for the web banner, using the new logo I had designed. DNA day happened very early in my design career, so I don't think I had ever designed a web banner before this.

This was the next version of the banner, and the one I decided to refine into the final design.
